Ghost

Ghost is a carefully drawn, brutalist yet elegant serif typeface. First informed by street letterings and the sharp flow of honorific Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah, the typeface matured over time, from the street to the magazine cover, from graffiti markers to digital typography. Ghost’s calligraphic axis combined with sharp triangular serifs and low stroke contrast makes it robust and highly legible. Very edgy and spiky, it is a rather rational and constructed serif Roman with a tempered Italic. Ghost maintains a level of delicacy at small sizes while showing all its graphic peculiarities when used in big quotes or headlines. Therefore, it’s a perfect typeface for editorial design; magazines, newspapers, websites, book covers as well as short logotypes and letterings.
