A book about eating and being eaten. Eating is seductive, and the relationship between food and humans is not uncomplicated. Food is taboo in many different ways: guttery is a death sin and almost every culture has cultivated how to eat and what to eat (as if we didn’t, something really bad would happen?). We live in a time where the dinner has become our only social arena, as the public sphere has been shut down for over a year now.
